Indulge this Chinese New Year with Philips

Days since my last post:3

It's the time of the year again where little kids rejoice and every unmarried adult dreads that one question, "When are you getting married?" That's right, Chinese New Year is right around the corner and if there's anything I fear more than those repetitive questions, it is the amount of weight I would gain because of the food, food, and endless amounts of food I'll be having.

It's not question that all Chinese New Year dishes always tend to be ridiculously delicious, but I've come to suspect that it's due to the amount of oil that's been put into making it taste that good. So while it's all yummy to the taste buds, it's actually really bad to our health; especially to our heart when it comes to all that excessive oil. What does that mean though? Do we forego all these yummy food? Thankfully, the answer is no! Meet the Philips Airfryer TurboStar with TurboStar technology that helps us retain all the yummy goodness in our dishes but without the oil!

And it's in red, super fitting to Chinese New Year!

Wondering what the Philips Airfryer TurboStar could cook up? Team Philips has also got you covered on that. In a bid to introduce healthier cooking methods especially with the airfryer, Philips has invited celebrity chef Amy Beh to come up with some Chinese New Year must-haves but in way healthier versions. From spring rolls to roasted pork and a completion of puff pastry desserts, it's like a party with a healthier conscience!

Getting heated up? Here's a starter recipe for you to try - Amy Beh's Prosperity Lucky Rolls made with the Philips TurboStar Airfryer!

Here's what you'll need.

And here's what you'll make!

It's time to enjoy more "fatt" with less fat as we usher in the year of the Rooster with delicious and healthy food all thanks to Philips! So do give it a go, and if you'd like you can also stick around because there's just one more recipe I'd love to share with you guys made with the Philips TurboStar Airfryer that I didn't even think was possible!

Until then, I'd like to announce that I am still unmarried and I would love some angpow. Happy Chinese New Year in advance!
