Designed For Humans, Inspired By Nature

So, if some people may not have known, I decided to run off to Midvalley today and actually check out the Samsung Galaxy S3 launch by Celcom! I was really expecting something grand but I was fairly disappointed by the mere booths and seemingly pitiful launch that was at the ground floor, South court of Midvalley Megamall.

But that aside, really the Samsung Galaxy S3 was quite amazing. Albeit a little big on size for someone with small hands like me, the screen resolution is truly great and I seriously liked how the camera works...ESPECIALLY the front camera. While running on the Android 4.0 or nicknamed the Ice Cream Sandwich may seem to already be good, I couldn't help but overhear someone saying that there already is Android 4.1 in the market and that he would go ahead and upgrade the phone straight away. Now, I'm not for commenting on this because I really am not quite an Android person (Don't judge me! I hate learning new things!) and I have no idea how these OS(s) work. Of course, I must say the names they have for the Android OS(s) have such an adorable ring to them. Gingerbread...Ice Cream Sandwich...yeah you get the point.

Anyway, here you go, a few pictures for you to marvel over...I couldn't get much because there were actually people QUEUING BEHIND me just to grab a hold of the phone and try it out...

Sporting a 4.8'' HD Super AMOLED screen, the phone felt ergonomically right as it fit in my tiny hands. Still, a little huge for my liking but I may just consider it...I even heard the screen is made of Gorilla glass. More information on the glass here.

Look how big it is compared to my little Nokia! There goes my days of having my phone in my pocket...I now have valid reasons not to pick up phone calls or reply messages if I do get the S3.

Trying out the front camera with my crazy friend (if you could catch her by the corner). You could see that the promoter wasn't too pleased at the back...

Of course, I would try it over and over...

Retailing at RM 2,199 at the Celcom booth, I really did do a double take on whether or not this would have been a better choice as opposed to the iPhone 4s. While the price is just about par...there are still things I would like to know better...or at least until the iPhone 5 comes out to the market. Of course, for all you enthusiastic phone lovers, I wouldn't have left out the most important thing...IT'S SPECIFICATIONS!!! And here you are, the specs list of the brand new Samsung Galaxy S3.

And there we go!!! The whole specification of the all new Samsung Galaxy S3. I am just that tad bit curious on the battery life though. Is it just like the iPhone; whereby it just dies after a few hours of usage? Because if it is, I best be saving up to buy a power bank on the go as well!

Now then if you'd excuse me, I have a father to suck up to right now...oh daddy~~~
